Frequently asked questions
Credits are your workspace's compute budget for the current billing term. Every tool shows its exact credit cost before you run it, so you can see the charge before you submit.
Free converters and simple utilities cost 0 credits. Compute-heavy jobs like docking, folding, and design use more credits, and cost can also scale with input size. For the full breakdown, see Credits.
Monthly billing charges you once per month and grants that month's credits for the current billing period.
Annual billing charges the full year upfront at the discounted rate and grants the full annual credit allowance upfront as well. Plus, for example, includes 2,000 credits per month, so annual Plus gives you 24,000 credits at the start of the yearly term. See Pricing and billing.
Yes. Subscription credits last for the billing term they were granted for, then expire at the end of that term.
Monthly-plan credits expire at the end of the monthly billing period. Annual-plan credits expire at the end of the annual billing period. They do not roll into the next term. See Credits.
Upgrades take effect immediately. If you move to a higher plan, a higher billing interval, or add seats, the prorated difference is settled right away and prorated additional credits are granted for the rest of the current term.
Downgrades and cancellations are scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Your current plan stays active until then, and no immediate refund is issued for the current term. See Cancellation and renewals and Billing and invoices.
New jobs will not start if your workspace does not have enough credits for that run.
Free tools (0 credits) don't count against your credit balance, but free workspaces still have a daily submission limit of 3 jobs per day. Upgrade to remove this limit. If you need more paid compute, upgrade to a higher plan or a larger seat count to increase the workspace credit allowance.
