Corrections policy

How to report an error and how ProteinIQ records material corrections.

Last reviewed:

Report a concern

Send the page URL, the statement in question, and supporting evidence to support@proteiniq.io. Scientific, attribution, privacy, and security concerns are prioritized by potential impact.

Review process

  • We compare the claim with the cited source and, where necessary, the underlying paper, software release, or project documentation.
  • We correct clear factual errors promptly and review disputed interpretations with relevant subject-matter context.
  • We contact the reporter when more information is needed or when a material correction is completed.

Correction records

Material corrections are accompanied by a dated note describing what changed. Minor grammar, formatting, and link repairs may be made without a correction note. We do not silently change publication dates or remove well-founded criticism to make content appear newer or more favorable.

Retractions and removals

A page may be retracted or removed when its central conclusion is unreliable, it creates a serious safety or privacy risk, or it violates legal rights. When possible, the URL remains available with an explanation so the record is not misleading.
