Testimonial Terms

These terms apply to testimonials submitted to ProteinIQ. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.

Your experience and authorship

Describe your own experience using ProteinIQ in your own words. Testimonials must be written by you, not generated or rewritten by AI. Do not include confidential research, personal data about others, or material you cannot share. Provide your real name and current institution, or identify yourself as an independent researcher. You speak for yourself, not on behalf of your institution.

Permission to publish

By checking the publishing consent box, you allow ProteinIQ to publish your testimonial on its publicly accessible website alongside your name, institution, and a publicly available photo of you, such as a professional profile photo. We will verify that the photo depicts you and that we have permission to use it, obtaining any additional rights needed from its owner before publication. Your consent does not transfer someone else's copyright.

We may correct spelling or shorten the testimonial without changing its meaning. We will ask you to approve any substantive changes. Submission does not guarantee publication. We may contact you through your ProteinIQ account email to verify details.

Credits and review

An approved testimonial earns 1,000 ProteinIQ credits. We review submissions before manually adding credits to your signed-in ProteinIQ account. Submitting does not automatically add credits. Rewards do not depend on a positive opinion or on whether we publish your testimonial. Fabricated, AI-written, or duplicate submissions are not eligible. We will disclose any credit incentive alongside a published testimonial.

Credits have no cash value and do not change your subscription or tool access. Any expiry will be communicated when credits are granted.

Consent records and withdrawal

Your submission is sent to testimonials@proteiniq.io with your account email, account identifier, name, institution, testimonial, submission time reported by your browser, and the wording and version of the consent you accepted. We retain this email to review your submission, administer rewards, and document your permission, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Participation is optional. You can withdraw publishing consent by emailing testimonials@proteiniq.io from your account email. We will stop future use and remove the testimonial and associated details from our website. Withdrawal does not affect your account, credits already granted, or the lawfulness of earlier use. Copies made by other people or search engines may remain outside our control.
